Sass Fee – Current Products

For high altitude resorts like Saas Fee, the 2023 / 24 season has been one of the best for many years with a huge amount of snow falling in March and early April.

We opened a new office in Saas Fee and had a lot of visitors including existing owners and potential buyers. Many viewings resulted in sales so here is a catch up of which have been the most popular buys and which properties we are recommending now. We have listed our current stock with regards to the different types of property (first homes, second homes, flexible rental, and professionally managed and rented).

Re-sale second homes

There are few re-sale properties on the market in Saas Fee as most owners are holding on to their properties as they have enjoyed fabulous ski conditions this winter. They are also expecting property prices to continue to increase. Here are two resales we can recommend:

Carmena 2 is a charming 3 bedroom chalet in a sunny south facing location in the Wildi area. The chalet has an open plan living room with panorama windows and high ceilings for breathtaking views. Price CHF 1,595,000.

Aramis 1 – This four-bed apartment has no rental obligation so can be used as much or as little as the owner wants. The apartment is in a prime location, ski in ski out and just a few minutes’ walk down to the centre of the resort. Some of the main highlights of the property include a sauna, large terrace, and a garden. It is a large property and has a lot of potential. Price CHF 1,650,000.

New build Second Homes

Residence Du Glacier is a complete refurbishment of an existing hotel and has second home status so the owners can use the property as they wish. Most owners will use it for holidays and rent it out when they are not using it themselves, but they could also leave it empty, or even live there. The project has an extraordinary location positioned right in the centre of the village but with unparalleled views up to the glaciers. Prices from CHF 1,135,000 to 2,855,000 (2 bedrooms to 5 bedroom penthouse).

Alphubel Unlimited is also a renovation of an existing hotel. We have two 4 bedroom apartments still available. One has second home status and the other must be rented when the owner is not using it. Prices from CHF 1,780,000 (4 bedrooms).

Flexible Rental

The Peak is a rare new build project of nine luxury apartments to be built on an elevated plateau in a convenient location near the car park of Saas Fee. The apartments will have a flexible rental obligation so owners must rent their apartment when they are not using it. They have very flexible personal use of the property. The Peak will be finished to a high standard by a local developer with high-quality materials and finishes. Prices from CHF 490,000 to 1,370,000 (1 bedroom to 4 bedroom penthouse).

Professionally Managed and Rented

Saastal Village is an example of one of our truly outstanding, professionally manged and rented properties. This large development was previously fully sold out, so currently only few apartments remain. Comprised of 51 apartments in six buildings (three renovated hotels and three new buildings), this is one of the largest developments in Saas Fee.

Located in the heart of the resort, Saastal Village has everything you could ever need. Facilities include a swimming pool and spa, gym, and restaurant. Airport transfers, childcare and other services are available at additional cost. Staying in your Saastal property ensures a completely relaxing stay with hotel-like services on demand 24/7.
